Best LEGO® Souvenirs for Paris Lovers

Best LEGO® Souvenirs for Paris Lovers

There are few cities that evoke the sense of wanderlust and romance of Paris. The capital of France has captured hearts for generations and has featured in several LEGO® sets over the years.

So, we thought we’d curate a list of the sets that would suit anyone with a taste for all things Parisian. Whether you’re looking for a perfect gift or a set to bring a little of the city into your home, join us tout de suite as we take a gentle stroll along the beautiful boulevard of the best Paris-themed LEGO sets.

LEGO® Art Mona Lisa

In 1503, Italian painter and polymath Leonardo da Vinci started a portrait of the wife of a wealthy Florentine silk merchant. The genius had no idea that this small and, in many ways, unassuming painting would go on to become one of the world’s most famous images, and would be recreated in countless posters, postcards, prints and now, in LEGO® bricks.

Despite being painted by an Italian, the Mona Lisa has become synonymous with Paris, and a pilgrimage to view it at the Louvre is a must on any best-of-Paris list. Now, you don’t have to journey to Paris to experience it, as the LEGO Art Mona Lisa brings this enigmatic painting to your home.

The image in the set has been colorized to add more blue as opposed to the aged yellow of the real-world painting. This reflects what the original artwork would have looked like when it was first painted. You can also choose from two options for building – with or without eyes, to give you the option of making it more abstract.

The frame and painting are two separate builds, and the gold frame (which has the most gold elements of any set to date) is removable so you could reuse it for other images or your own LEGO® brick creations.

Oh, and did we mention the piece count? It’s 1,503. A reference to the year the work was started. We think Leonardo would have liked that.

LEGO® Architecture Landmarks Collection: Notre-Dame de Paris

Standing proudly on the Île de la Cité surrounded by the majestic River Seine, the spectacular Notre-Dame de Paris has stood for over 1,000 years.

The LEGO® Architecture Landmarks Collection: Notre-Dame de Paris set has a building experience that takes you on a historic journey from when the first stone was laid, right up to Notre-Dame’s majestic appearance just before the tragic fire of 2019.

The set lets you recreate authentic details, like the bell towers, rose windows and the central spire surrounded by statues. You can even remove the roof and towers to view the interior columns and arches inside.

If you’re a lover of architecture or history (or are looking for a gift for one) then look no further.

LEGO® Eiffel Tower

One of the most recognizable structures in the world has become one of the biggest LEGO® sets ever released. Standing at an incredible 58.5 in. (149 cm) tall and with 10,001 pieces, this set will bring a little (or perhaps that should be a lot) of Paris into your home.

The set is faithful to the geometric design and features the decorative esplanade below, complete with lampposts, benches, trees and shrubs. Not for the fainthearted, perhaps, but for anyone who makes it to the top, this is sure to be an unforgettable building experience.

LEGO® Architecture Paris

If you don’t have the space for the big one, then this mini-Parisian skyline is for you. A part of our Architecture series that recreates iconic cities like London, Singapore and New York, the Paris edition features the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, the Grand Palais and, of course, the Eiffel Tower. It’s a compact 649-piece set that will sit snuggly on your home shelf and bring a little of the City of Light into your life.

LEGO® Bouquet of Roses

Okay, so it’s not strictly Parisian, but Paris is the ‘City of Love’, and nothing says love like a bouquet of red roses. This set is part of the LEGO® Botanical Collection that aims to bring relaxing builds and beautiful floral sets to your home. It includes a dozen red roses in three stages of bloom, along with four sprigs of baby’s breath and long stems to help you display them. La vie en rose, indeed.
