Core Responsibilities
- Design, build and test end-to-end applications through close collaboration with other product team members
- Engineer products to the highest standards of security and data privacy by implementing and following the LEGO Group security and data privacy principles from ideation to production release and beyond.
- Engineer products that implement business logic, modern design patterns and architectural principles
- Engineer products that follow coding standards e.g., documentation and efficiency
- Ensure product robustness and reliability by writing and executing unit and integration tests
- Improve operational efficiency by developing automation tools for daily tasks
- Build efficient and optimal solutions by challenging ideas/opinions
- Work on the technical roadmap together with Lead Engineer, Product team and Product Manager

The Supply & Demand Technology team builds and innovates global Digital solutions for the entire supply chain in the LEGO Group, which are vital to delivering great play experiences. We handle massive and fast-changing amounts of data, and our products are the foundation for planning the supply, production, and distribution of LEGO® products globally. Our solutions essentially impact all our factories as well as our entire supply chain. Being able to handle frequent changes in planning and master data is complex and requires smart and robust solutions to ensure an optimal flow in the factories and distribution. This is why we focus on quality, speed, skilled and motivated people and modern software development practices to accomplish this. We apply a range of modern cloud technologies every day, and value innovation and great ideas.
Do you have what it takes?
- Hands-on experience on development with SAP S/4 Hana and modern SAP
BTP/RAP/ABAP Cloud, and potentially also working with non-SAP technologies - Good understanding of technology, best practices and skills needed in modern software development to be able to spare with your colleagues to develop in role as engineers
- Experience with working in an agile development environment
- A curious team player that continuously learn, naturally shares knowledge and challenges status quo while embracing diversity and inclusion
- Eagerness to learn and teach while being playful and self-driven
It is a bonus if you also know about:
- Test driven development, CI/CD and DevSecOps mindset
- Event driven architecture
- JavaScript
- Node.js
- SAP Fiori Elements
- SAP CAP
- API development and management
