Job Description
As Lead engineer for the established Tax and Trade Compliance product team within the Corporate Products Technology domain, you will be a ‘hands-on mentor", combining your passion for technology with your tactical leadership skills, and orchestra the architecture around Tax and Trade Compliance solutions. You will enable and support technology across our Global Corporate Functions and deliver digital solutions supporting our outstanding LEGO® Brand”.
This role gives an exciting opportunity to digitalize the Tax and Trade Compliance area of the LEGO group and implement real solutions based on modern software platforms such as SAP GTS, SAP S4 HANA and Tax engines.

Do you have hands-on experience in managing complex compliance tax- and trade processes, developing template solutions including the configuration, test and documentation of them?

Core Responsibilities
Drive the creation and future maintenance of solutions for compliance processes in close collaboration with the Tax and Trade Compliance team, related Product teams and business owners
Configure SAP GTS to align with legal requirements and regulations around the world
Own and maintain the Compliance solutions – including future development
Be responsible and act as "go-to person" in compliance matters with respect legal requirements for the flow of goods
The liaison officer between the Product Teams, the product owners and the business colleagues across the organization
Be the spearhead of migrating legacy system into SAP GTS and the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S4Hana including implementation of a new Tax Engine and solve for Digital Reporting Mandates e-invoicing, SAF-T and more

Do you have what it takes?
5 – 8 years of SAP experience as a SAP architect within SAP GTS or related SAP Finance and Sales and Distribution modules
Deep business process understanding from a global manufacturing company including the understanding of trading in a global company
Good communication skills and Strong collaboration skills – both within business and technology
Systematic approach – high on structure and coordination and an ability to work independently
Broad and deep technology understanding with constant curiosity to learn, also beyond SAP technology
Standout colleague that thrives with agile ways of working
Understanding of distribution/warehouse processes
Experience in SAP to SAP integrations and working with API
Advisory experience with senior IT groups is a plus
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
