Step 1
Grab some plain bookends and find tiles to match your Hogwarts™ House colors.
Step 2
Peel off the adhesive on the back of the stick-on plate.
Step 3
Attach the plate to the top of the bookends, one on each.
Step 4
Now the fun begins… Time to DOT and re-DOT!
Step 5
Grab some extra LEGO® bricks to help extend your build into new shapes and structures.
Step 6
Attach your new, free build onto your bookends using your spare bricks.
Step 7
Continue to build larger structures, like this picture frame!
Step 8
Add some magical, personal flourishes to your masterpiece...

From worn to WOW
Everything deserves a second chance at being amazing. Even old tote bags!How to… upscale a tote bag with LEGO® DOTS!
Step 1
Grab an old tote bag, DOTS tiles, stitch-on plates, and a needle & thread.
Step 2
To make a pocket, you’ll need at least 6 plates.
Step 3
Use thick thread to stitch them together (it’s okay if they’re a bit loose!)
Step 4
Stitch the pocket to your tote bag and get ready to DOT!
Step 5
Will you use symmetry or a lovely bit of chaos to achieve your desired effect?
Step 6
If you’re a true upscaling expert, snip off those handles...
Step 7
… and replace them with a LEGO® DOTS bracelet!
Step 8
Customize your bag even more by adding in some embroidery or painting around your pocket.

Grab a mirror, marker pens, and as colorful ties and plates as you can find.
Step 2
Draw around the area where you’ll stick the plates.
Step 3
Begin DOTting the plates. There’s no right or wrong!
Step 4
Peel off the backing...
Step 5
… and stick them on around where you’ve drawn!
Step 6
A continuation of your pattern from plates to glass looks FAB in our not-so-humble opinion!
