Put your end-to-end strategic capabilities to work to build and execute the LEGO Group’s Sustainability strategy! 

 

Bring your outstanding skills in business partnering, problem solving & communication to support our Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and her leadership team on their strategic agenda! 
 

Core Responsibilities 

 

As part of the Strategy & Transformation function, you will: 

  • Work closely with the CSO to drive the strategic agenda in her area 

  • Collaborate with the other Strategy Partners and across functions to drive critical projects, strategy formulation and end-to-end problem-solvingto deliver against our sustainability agenda 

  • Constructively challenge and provide sparring to senior leaders on strategic challenges to improve leadership decisions in sustainability 

  • Translate LEGO Group Sustainability strategy into simple and clear communication to the senior leadership group and organization  

  • Prepare materials on behalf of the CSO that go to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors for input and / or decision-making 

  • Support CSO to ensure alignment and mobilise for execution across the organisation 

  • Support CSO on ensuring her leadership team meetings are run well and with preparation ahead of senior meetings

Working for the LEGO Group CSO, you will work closely with her leadership teams & broader organisation. You will help run the CSO Leadership Team meetings and support her strategic agenda while also engaging with other LEGO Group Strategy partners to drive cross functional collaboration & end to end thinking. 

 

Do you have what it takes? 

 

The successful candidate comes with a Masters’ degree in Economics, Business Administration/ Management, Sustainability strategy or a similar field combined with extensive professional experience. This includes: 

  • Strategy experience in sustainability in consulting or corporate 

  • Outstanding business partnering skills at an executive level and ability to build a strong network within the organization 

  • Ability to break down complexity and communicate it to executive leaders and a large organization.  

  • Top-notch quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems 

  • Time spent with an international company working with key stakeholders across different markets, preferably in a strategic capacity 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global colleagues including working with different cultures, in different time zones and in different formats (online and offline) 

  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to structure documents and quantitative analysis turning them into convincing storylines and presentations for executive level interaction 

  • A ‘can do’-attitude to ensure things are acted upon in a fast-paced environment
