Then we have the perfect opportunity for your strategic vision and communication expertise as we are looking to hire a Billund-based Senior Marketing Manager for the LEGO Friends franchise!

Core Responsibilities

As Sr. Marketing Manager - Communication Lead in the LEGO Friends team - and in collaboration with the Marketing Director and the Marketing team, you will lead the Go-to-Market and communication strategy, from planning to execution. This will include:

  • End-to-end global go-to-market and communication campaign towards consumers and shoppers; from briefing to playbook and toolbox development as well as execution.

  • Drive the communication innovation agenda, identifying new impactful and efficient ways to reach our consumers and shoppers.

  • Lead the LEGO Friends experience across Owned, Earned and Shared channels, securing a consistent and playful experience across the ecosystem, immersing the LEGO Friends audience into the Heartlake City Universe.

  • Ensure great collaboration and alignments with our main global communication partners, including Our LEGO Agency, Regional Brand Leads and LEGO branded channels among others.

  • Work closely with Regions and Markets to help transition the global campaign to a local execution, guiding and helping our partners.

  • Build, own and drive the Friends communication research agenda to test the efficiency of our marketing campaigns and build insights for future efforts.

  • Lead the LEGO Friends gaming strategy, including partnering with the LEGO Game team, external vendors and the external media agency.

  • Lead the LEGO Friends: The Next Chapter series go-to-market strategy, securing high viewership and engagement with core audience.

  • Support the Head of product and Marketing Director to build vision and long-term strategic direction for LEGO Friends.

Join a friendly bunch of visionaries! As the Senior Marketing Manager you are responsible for envisioning and implementing key parts of the Global marketing strategy for LEGO® Friends, with a special focus on communication.

LEGO Friends is a part of the Global Product & Marketing Development team and develops and manages the global portfolio of concepts and products – short, medium, and long term - and are responsible for developing a portfolio which can deliver to the consumer sales and profitability objectives of the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer products marketing (ideally with kids / family products)

  • Experience in developing and leading product consumer and shopper communication and marketing campaigns, including creative agency and media agency management.

  • Strong business understanding; how communication efforts impact business plans.

  • A positive, can-do attitude, team spirit and a belief that we build bigger thinking through collaboration.

  • An intuitive talent for understanding and extracting key consumer and shopper insights and how to apply these to communication strategies and campaigns.

  • Best in class presentation and writing skills with the ability to tell a persuasive story that makes the campaign come to life and creates a crowd of fellow enthusiasts.

  • An effective leader and relationship builder across functions, levels and business units – you build positive relationships and influence.
