Come play a key role in accelerating the growth of the LEGO® Retail Gift Card program across LEGO® stores globally and LEGO.com!

Bring a strong consumer & stores expertise into play and join our Global E-Commerce Growth and Optimization team at the LEGO Group!

Location: London, UK or Billund, Denmark

Core Responsibilities

The Gift Card Specialist working within a small Gift Card team, will take care of driving the day-to-day performance of the Gift Card business - in LEGO® stores and in 3rd party retailers in all 32 markets.

Also, actively fuel growth of Gift Card by trading the channels based on understanding the shopper behaviors & commercial opportunities. Ensure stable operations and constantly seek to improve the setup to benefit shoppers and reduce internal complexities. This includes among other areas Gift Card forecasting, stock management and supply chain management in stores and 3rd party distribution.

Work with the Gift Card trading manager to identify campaign & promotion opportunities across stores. In collaboration with global & regional teams and lead all aspects of the implementation of campaigns in stores. Run weekly and monthly reporting & understand shopper data to turn insights into actions.

Solve problems in case of issues. Working with partners to find practical solutions to problems that might occur around issuing and redemption, stock availability, reporting and training. Handle queries and requests from Customer Service, Store Support, Gift Card platform service provider, suppliers, customers, and internal collaborators.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business such as technology, store operations, site operations, marketing, legal, procurement etc.

  • Build and develop relationship with LEGO® Store teams to help deliver focus on Gift Cards.
  • Develop regular communication.
  • Deep dive into performance variation and investigate technical and training issues that arise.

As a part of Retail organization, the Global Ecommerce team drives development of LEGO.com and digital shopper channels across regions and plays a central role in the LEGO Group commercial strategy. We have seen significant growth in the past years and the channel plays a meaningful role in our strategy to build stronger, direct relationships with our consumers and reach them with exiting new offers.

Sitting within this team, Gift Card business has grown significantly in recent years, and we have big plans to expand and grow further. This means actively developing profitable Gift Card sales performance in all channels, LEGO.com, LEGO Store and 3rd party distribution.

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for a preferred candidate with a strong commercial experience, working with Store teams to drive sales and operational excellence. A solid track record in delivering results & solving problems, both bringing strategic plans into reality but also with the ability to solve urgent problems in practical and pragmatic ways.

To succeed in this role, the preferred candidate preferably has competence within the following:

  • Expert knowledge of Excel, confident in data manipulation and experience in reporting.
  • Supply chain & technology as foundational enablers for performance.
  • Highly developed teamwork skills with an open mind and ability to work across different departments nurturing the Gift Card program.
  • Working on digital and physical Gift Card products.

Well of course, advanced English both written and verbally is a must since we work with colleagues and partners globally.
