Join the LEGO Group as a Lead Engineer, where you’ll leverage SAP S/4HANA to design and implement transformative solutions across our global operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance across product teams, delivering exceptional solutions through coaching and mentoring. Act as a technical sparring partner for product managers and fellow engineers.
  • Roadmap & Design: Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to formulate technical roadmaps and design SAP solutions. Support high-level estimating and selection processes for new software solutions.
  • Integration & Automation: Drive the integration of SAP applications and advanced test automation capabilities within product teams.
  • Innovation & Prototyping: Explore emerging technologies, contribute to the development of new prototypes, and identify platform opportunities.
  • Team Development & Knowledge Sharing: Engage with competency leads on team skillsets, growth opportunities, and training. Actively participate in cross-organizational initiatives and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuous Learning & Quality: Maintain a relentless desire to learn and stay updated with the latest technologies within the ERP space.

Platform Technology consists of product teams that support critical digital platforms used within our Omnichannel, Manufacturing & Product Engineering Technology domain, as well as niche business areas such as Circular Business Models and LEGO® Retail Model Production. We support our colleagues with tools for registering data, controlling the processes and connecting to machines for automatization and optimizing processes.

We work with platforms that support everything from Product Development processes to our manufacturing and supply chain processes, as well as future circular business model processes.

We're on a constant journey, evaluating new technologies and working on everything from small MVPs to large Enterprise Platforms - such as SAP ERP and Siemens Teamcenter.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience & Expertise: Extensive background within SAP Enterprise Resource Planning systems and architecture, primarily from discrete manufacturing industry.
  • SAP & Agile Skills: Deep understanding of the SAP Logistics modules and understanding of Domain Driven Design. Familiarity with Agile development methods and continuous delivery.
  • Communication & Planning: Strong communication skills for complex technical decisions, with proven planning and time management abilities.
  • Adaptability & Teamwork: Ready for change, thrive in a flexible environment, and value diversity and teamwork.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Configuration experience with the following SAP modules within SAP ERP:
    • Production Planning (Discrete Manufacturing).
    • Plant Maintenance / Asset Management.
    • Quality Management.
    • Logistics Execution.
    • Materials Management (Inventory Management).
    • Environment, Health and Safety.
    • Advanced Available-to-Promise (or Global Available-to-Promise).
  • SAP S/4HANA Implementation Experience
  • Advisory experience with senior IT groups is a plus.
