That’s what we’re creating. By supporting families, parents and caregivers in the workplace, we can have a positive impact on child development.
Here are the global policies we use to support all parents at the LEGO Group. In countries where local policies offer a more generous leave, the local policies take precedence.
We provide up to four weeks of paid leave, so colleagues can take care of their loved ones when they need them the most.
All our LEGO colleagues are covered through our death and disability insurance, which provides protection and peace of mind.
Open to our colleagues and their families, this service provides confidential and professional assistance for personal or work-related problems.
In many countries, LEGO colleagues have access to health insurance to help pay for medical expenses, such as doctor’s visits, hospital stays and surgeries.
Every role at the LEGO Group has a defined salary range. We continually review these by looking at comparable positions across all industries in local markets. This is in addition to our globally-aligned bonus program.
We want our workplace facilities to be as inclusive as possible. You’ll find everything from all-gender toilets, breastfeeding spaces and free menstrual products to wheelchair-accessible amenities and wellbeing rooms.
For many of our roles, we also offer ‘Best of Both’, our hybrid work approach which provides the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, and from the office for a minimum of three days per week.
While our hybrid work approach offers flexibility to many roles, we know that the hands-on magic happens on-site for certain roles.
We asked some of our amazing colleagues to share their experiences of extended parental leave and how it made a difference to them and their families. Here’s what they said.
Our commitment to creating a family-friendly workplace just keeps growing. Here are a few more examples of how we’re making progress.
LEGO® play is for everyone – and working here should be, too. Every day, we’re building an inclusive and welcoming workplace where all our colleagues feel a sense of belonging.
The Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) outline the best ways businesses can deliver on gender equality and women’s empowerment, and by signing up to them, we are committed to taking bold steps to advance gender equality in our workplace, marketplace and community.
